Henry
Wadsworth Longfellow Suite (201)
The Henry Wadsworth Longfellow Suite is a large
accommodation featuring a queen four-poster cherry bed dressed with Ralph Lauren fabrics
drawn from a palate of blues and tans. A marble bistro table is nestled before two eight
foot windows overlooking Pine St. This is an ideal spot to enjoy a private breakfast for
two. This room is furnished with oak and mahogany pieces including an antique game table,
bureau, and night stand. Thick Chinese rugs complement the decor and sit upon original
pumpkin pine floors. The focal point of the bedroom is its original 1830 ornamental
fireplace. The parlor room of the suite adjoins with a wet bar and refrigerator stocked
with complimentary soft drinks and bottled water and the parlor has a pine desk for
sorting out business details. Upholstered walls rise halfway to match draperies and the
rich green tones. The floor is polished terra cotta tile. A small but luxurious bath is
faced in green and white marble, accented with mirror all around and has a shower. An
extra twin bed can be accommodated in the suite upon request. This room offers three
windows, a ceiling fan, and climate controls.
